Every year, over five thousand undergraduate women across America join Chi Omega for fun and lifelong friendships. Chi Omega offers a home in your new college environment and a place to make your mark on the world. You can make a difference in Chi Omega. Chi Omega can make a difference in you.
Note From the Recruitment Chair:
Dear Potential New Members,
My name is Mary Kate Myrick and I have the privilege of being the Recruitment Chair this year! It is my pleasure to prepare the chapter for Fall Formal Recruitment by planning spring and summer workshops, appointing chapter members to our Recruitment team, serving as a liaison between Panhellenic and our chapter, and most importantly, welcoming YOU into our doors!
With that being said, I know Recruitment may seem overwhelming as I remember my own pursuit of identity before coming to college. Whether you are overjoyed to enter into a new season of life or overcome with nervousness, Chi Omega seeks to know you in the most honest sense. Beginning with Recruitment, college is a time of transition and change. We hope that you can feel comfortable in Chi Omega, so that we can get to sincerely know you!
I am overwhelmed with gratitude as I survey the wonderful women in this chapter who exemplify gentleness without weakness, strength without severity, and humility without the slightest lack of confidence. Chi Omega will abundantly provide you with relationships that will refine you and teach you to live graciously and authentically. I am unendingly grateful that I get to experience daily this diverse community of women with so many different hometowns and majors. We cannot wait to share that with each one of you. It is our hope that Chi Omega will not only enhance your experience as a student, but be the best part of your years at Auburn.
Mary Kate Myrick

There is a new online RIF System that provides a RIF with the same content as the current paper form and delivers it to the chapter’s recruitment team as well as the RIF advisor within minutes of submitting all the correct information. The process for paper RIFs will not change due to the online RIF system, but it will allow alumnae two options for RIF submittal.
We would prefer that all RIFs are submitted online because it expedites the process and ensures that each RIF has all information needed for approval. However, we do understand there will be some circumstances in which the paper RIF is the only option. We ask that all RIFs be submitted by July 31st.
Please mail completed paper RIFs to:
535 Sherwood Drive
Auburn, AL 36830
Online RIFs can be found by logging into the Chi Omega EveryDay website, www.ChiOmega.com/EveryDay .
Please email any Recruitment questions to Mary Kate Myrick at email@example.com.

Meet the New Member Educator:
Name: Caroline Ousley
Hometown: Tampa, FL
Tell us a little about what you do as New Member Educator.
Hey! My name is Mary Helen Bayless and I have the privilege of serving as the Alpha Beta Chapter’s New Member Educator this year! My job is to educate our new members on the traditions of Chi Omega and walk alongside them during their transition into college and into the sisterhood! It seems like just yesterday that I was a new member and I cannot wait to share in all the excitement that that journey will bring!
What advice would you give to PNM's coming through recruitment?
I remember coming through recruitment I thought there was a cookie cutter image of what I needed to wear and act as a sorority girl, but as the week went on I started to ditch my pre-planned outfits and become more comfortable to truly let my personal style, passions, and heart show. I had so many preconceptions of what I would need to become but I want each one of you to know that the most important thing is finding somewhere where you can be yourself.
What are you most looking forward to about being New Member Educator?
I’m most looking forward to getting to know the new members! There are going to be so many different types of hearts that walk through those doors and everything will be so new. I cannot wait to share life's adventures with my girls for not only their freshman year, but also for many years to come!
The Recruitment Team is the group of women who handles everything from the decorations to the clothing to the food and everything in between. Without these ladies, recruitment would not be the rewarding and productive experience that it is each year. The unsung heroes of the week, the Recruitment Team works tirelessly to ensure everything goes off without a hitch while simultaneously keeping the morale high among the chapter during the week.
The Sisterhood Support Team is a vital part in assisting the New Member Educator in welcoming and encouraging new members the moment they step into Chi Omega. These ladies serve as the executive board as they each form different relationships based on her position. These roles can range from scholarship needs to chaplain. Each Sisterhood Support Team Member is assigned a small group of new members to check up on regularly to ensure that they feel comfortable entering in and continuing through their first semester as a Chi Omega.
